Bostik continuously analyses the environmental impact of its products, operations and systems. Within the scope of the Green in Motion® programme, Bostik has analysed the packaging of its products, with the aim of reducing its CO2 footprint.

From an environmental point of view, Bostik is already using relatively friendly HDPE cartridges. After thorough investigation Bostik was able to reduce its polyethylene consumption with 30% by switching over on thinner-walled cartridges. In terms of transport, it means a CO2 reduction of approx. 5% and considerable fuel savings due to weight reduction of the cartridge.

Bostik continues to investigate innovative, ‘greener’ ways of doing business and of minimising its environmental footprint, both independently and in cooperation with other manufacturers and suppliers.
